Our cats live in foster homes, so we know them purrfectly well and are furmiliar with their purrsonalities and preferences. We sniff out their characteristics. We can tell you who's a cuddler, who's a play meister, and who's a lover. We know who wants to be an only cat and who wants to be part of a herd. If we don't think the cat you've chosen is perfect for you or for your home, we'll tell you. We want every cat to be a happy cat, and we want happy adopters too.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Thank you to everyone who donated money or made pledges to help Tampico, the kitty who was hit by a car and needs surgery to re-attach the tendons of his leg. We have enough money pledged right now to pay for his surgery. A reminder: if you have pledged money, you can use the PayPal link on the left navigation bar to send in your donation. Mark it "Tampico's Surgery." Happy Cat Adoptions is so grateful to each and every one of you for making this surgery possible for this loving little boy. Now it's time to spread the word that in another couple of months, he's going to need a forever home. See his webpage for photos and a video and a description of his personality. His surgery is scheduled for early April. If you'd like to get an update about him, send an email to his foster mom at mickey@domecats.com with "update" in the subject line. We do take responsibility for any Happy Cat for the entire lifetime of the cat. If, for whatever reason, you need to return a cat you've adopted from Happy Cat Adoptions, just call and we will arrange to pick the cat up. We make a lifetime committment to the cats we rescue.
Why do I have to register?
As a security measure, we ask those who want to fill out an application to register on the site. This keeps your information private and our web pages safer. We know it's an inconvenience and we apologize. The only use we make of your email address is to contact you--either about a potential adoption or about Happy Cat Adoptions news.
