Belly rubs are demanded promptly at 4 p.m., wakeup is early because Squeak gets hungry! In between is princess-scheduled playtime, nap time, and cuddling time. Squeak is a character if you haven't yet guessed. An employee of the local PetSmart called the local feral cat group Tomball SOS, and Pixie, as she was known then, and a young adult male cat, Frodo, were trapped and brought in to be fixed. But the little Squeak was too young to be put back on the street, and the area where the two were found was swampy and dangerous, so Happy Cat Adoptions took them in. Then the worst freeze in our memory set in. Our volunteer had Squeak in a cage, to isolate her from the other cats in the building, but the home lost power and water. Squeak was too little to tolerate the cold, and she couldn't yet cuddle up with the other cats. A plea went out and Squeak's current foster mom and dad offered to take her (they had not lost power or water). And they loved her so much, they offered to foster her until a furrever home is found! That might be pretty soon though, because this little darling has it all. She is cute and her face is very expressive, her fur is soft, and she's cuddly - of course, it all has to be on her timetable. And she really loves playtime, but she's also gotten to know her fellow kitties in the foster home. And become fast friends with an older guy. They hang out together. You can visit this little charmer (appointment only) at the foster's home to see if she's going to be your next family member. The first step is to fill out an application and our adoption counselor will arrange a meeting. Squeak would do best in a home with another friendly cat, and with someone who can take the time to play with her daily at least until she's older. Her adoption fee is $125. This fee helps to offset the costs of veterinary treatment and enables us to rescue more little pixie cats from swamps! She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations and flea treatment. *** More about Princess Squeak the PixieGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Adults Sponsors: Tomball SOS
