I was a baby having babies. I have a long, sad story, but my life is improving rapidly, and will improve a lot more if I can find a foster home--or a FOREVER home.

I started life in a colony of barn cats--at a property where the humans never got any of the cats altered. Cats were born and died all the time. Conditions were not good.

After some construction, some of us cats started to migrate, and ended up at another place--a kennel, where animals were kept. The people there trapped us and split us up into various places to keep us safe, but because they didn't have the money to alter us, and because some of us (me included) were already pregnant, many litters of kittens ensued. There wasn't enough food, the conditions weren't healthy, and the people couldn't keep up with litter boxes, deworming, flea treatment. Some of the babies started dying (none of mine, thank goodness).

Finally, the people called in Happy Cats, and they helped us by getting all of us moms and our babies separated and in clean, neat cages, with beds and litter boxes, and water and food. They got everyone treated for worms and fleas and got us all the initial vaccinations. Then they put out a call for help. My babies are listed with Purrfect Pets--go look at them! But me? I'm here with Happy Cats. And boy, do I need a sponsor and a foster. I'm taken care of, I'm getting fresh water and food, clean litter and a soft bed, but I'm having to live in a cage, because there's just not enough room in the Happy Cat households right now. And there's not enough money in the Happy Cat coffers to finish my medical work. That includes the rest of my vaccinations (FVRCP and rabies) and spay. Can you help with expenses? Can you foster me in your home until I can find a forever home? Would you come and visit me and help socialize me a little more? I'm still a little afraid of people. They've always fed me and petted me, but they've also chased me and frightened me, too. And finally, will you help me find my forever home?

I'm very quiet, and I'm gentle. I hiss when I'm frightened, but when I see you're not hurting me, I'm so gentle and loving. But sometimes I tremble with fear because of everything I've been through. My life has been so hard. Please help me find the forever home where I can finally find peace. I get along with other cats just fine, but I do better with females than males. I've been around dogs, but they've also frightened me by chasing me. So I could be in a home with dogs, if they are gentle and you take time to introduce us. Please check out my web page at www.happycatadoptions.org and see if you have room in your home for a broken-hearted, frightened sweet baby to heal.

Special Needs: Needs some socialization.
