I'm a bundle of energy because I'm a kitten!

One thing I like a lot is dangly toys. You can play me for hours with a dangly toy. Okay, I like the TurboScratcher too. And catching those little furry mice, and the rattle mice, and balls, and oh, ping pong balls are nice, and I have a scrap of fur I love to carry around, and then there's the little fish that vibrates and the soft ball, and the "Weiner Dog" and...well, you get the picture.

When you pet me, I sometimes roll over on my back so you can pet my spotted belly.

My mom, Paisley, was a feral cat who had me and my litter mates in a barn. A lady got us all into one room in a house, but there were four other feral moms there too, so we had to live in a cage for a while so the lady could get the moms and litters all sorted out and to different rescues.

I ended up as a Happy Cat!

And boy, am I happy now. My foster mom says I look like a cowboy. She calls me Tex, but my foster dad calls me cowboy. I don't really know what cowboy is, but I know what a horse is, 'cause they were in the barn where I was born.

When I first came to my foster house, I didn't know much about petting. I picked it up pretty fast. I really, really like to be petted. But you know what? I'm the leader of my tiny little pack, and so I can't always be a cuddle muffin! Well, I can, but don't tell anybody. I got to look tough to live up to my name, right?

I have soft, short fur, and I'm a soft dove gray color, turning darker in spots. I'm called a tabby, and I do have tabby stripes, and I have soft cream colored feet. I've got the cutest little face, too.

I'm pretty adaptable. I've been moved here and there, I've been in a cage and out. I can't stay here. My foster mom explained that this is a rescue household, and sooner or later, we all have to find a home of our own. I'll be sad to leave, but she told me that having a home of my own means I get all the food I want, all the petting I want, and all the toys I want. I think I'd like that.

Would you come and visit me and see if you think we'd get along together? I want a family that knows a kitten can look tough, but sometimes need to be comforted, and cuddled, and petted and played with. I need a family who knows a kitten likes toys and soft cuddly beds, and sometime to curl up with at the end of a day. Could you be my someone?

Come to my webpage at www.happycatadoptions.org and click on the Adoption link, so you can fill out an online application. Then we can visit and you can see how a rough and tumble kitty Cowboy can be a spotty belly baby too.
