I don't know where my mom went.

My mom is a beautiful red-orange tabby cat, and my dad a Siamese mix. My foster mom says they are feral, and that after they got "fixed," they went to live in a barn. I was rescued and moved in with my new buddies from another litter. My foster mom says I'm not ever going to be lonely again.

I came to my foster home here at Happy Cats a couple of weeks ago. Up to then, I hadn't had much attention, just some petting, feeding, cleaning, and medicating. But now, I get to play and cuddle. And now that I see what cuddling is like, I'm getting to like it.

My foster parents call me Nestor, because I'm a nester. I love to curl up in a bed, or under a blanket, or in a furry tunnel. My buddies are bigger than me, and sometimes the play gets a little rough. Then I go and make myself a little nest and just watch them.

My favorite toys are the little crinkly balls, but I love, love, love to chase things. I like things that make a little noise best of all, like those little rattly furry mice. I love to pounce on them from my little nest!

Boy, I love dangly toys, especially string on a stick. That's what my foster mom calls those dangly toys after we kittens tear the toy off the end. Then it's the best. String on a stick. Can't beat it.

My foster dad tells me that even though I've learned all about cuddling and playing and being a kitten, I still have to find a home of my own. That scares me a little. I'm sort of a timid little guy. (SIGH) It's tough being a kitten, isn't it?

But my foster mom and dad tell me that at a home of my own, I'll have my own bed, and people who'll pet me and cuddle me all the time, and all the toys I want, especially the nice laser pointer, and I won't be lonely any more for the rest of my life.

I'd really like that.

Are you my forever family?

Won't you come and visit me and see if you could love a tiny red tabby mix? My foster mom says I'm a "classic" tabby and I have a "bullseye" on my side. How'd I get that? I dunno, but everybody says I'm cute, with my dad's pointy face and big ears and my mom's coloring and fur.

I hope I'm cute enough for you to love.
