Sushi is a cuddler. She loves to be petted and played with, and that's a miracle, considering her story.

She was someone's precious kitten, maybe a "free to a good home" kitten, and was lost or wandered. She was too tiny to be on her own, and she hooked up with a feral cat colony that was monitored and fed by some kind folks.

And one day, they trapped her little squirmy wormy self, and they thought about what to do with her. She was acting feral, running and hiding, spitting and hissing. So they got her altered and got her ear "tipped" to signify she's been altered, and save her from going under anasthesia again, should she be trapped again.

But then, something happened. In the recovery cage, all by herself, Sushi showed her true colors, crying for attention, reaching out through the cage. And now she's at her foster home, with Tizzy Tussle as her companion, and she's happy as a clam.

Sushi loves to eat, and that's how she got her name. She's always happy to grab a nibble, and when she eats, she has to close her little eyes to show how happy she is.

Sushi is safe now--off the street and out of the feral cat colony, but she needs a home. She can't stay where she is, much as her foster family loves her. They have pets and children of their own, and their guest bathroom is full. So Sushi is looking for love--a forever home where she can be guaranteed the love and care and attention she deserves.
