Awwwwww! That's what everyone says when they see little Kittykins. She reaches out of her cage to touch your finger or face. She purrs, she shows her belly.

Unfortunately, her abdomen herniated at birth, and little Kittykins had to have a huge hernia surgery. She's confined to a small cage so she doesn't burst her stitches. But it doesn't get her down. She lays on her back and makes little "air biscuits." She plays with her rattly ball in her bed. She's a little trooper.

Kittykins was abandoned or lost with her mom and brother.

They found their way to an alley where rescuers were feeding some other cats there, including another mom and kittens, and they survived, all thin and hungry.

Kittykins and Katzer were first to be found, and Kittykins was so grateful to gobble down that first meal in the cage.

She's a handsome gray girl, with a long, sweet face, tiny paws, and a little purr motor.

She's up for preadoption, because she needs to be monitored while she heals, and she needs time to be a kitten--to relax and play and do all the things kittens were meant to do besides crouch in the bushes or scrabbling through the trash.
